First and foremost, this is a book aimed at the SC enthusiast. Beyond obligatory information such as explaining the need for a pop-off valve in the air-box, the book gets high marks for the detailed buyer's guide, the listings of information specific to each model year and also the special editions such as the Martini. The charts regarding the exterior and interior colors codes along with the option package codes also need to be mentioned.

Granted, pieces of this information might be found on the World Wide Web, but having it all bundled in one volume is truly handy (besides, no WWW site covers the ventilation system with such detail as this book does).

Additionally, having owned a Euro-spec car, the chart translating German terms into Eglish is a very welcome resource, given the abundance of German words in the various plaques and stickers throughout the car.

The book also covers other trivia that an SC enthusiast may want to know, such as the racing legacy of the car and its enduring presence in vintage races and track days. Finally, though not exhaustive, information on modifications on the car abounds.
