Ferrari: Le Gran Turismo da corsa
The great era of Ferrari’s racing GTs constitutes something of a story within the story of the Prancing Horse, which immediately set out racing its covered-wheel cars and naturally with great success.
From the diverse variations on the initial 166 theme to the various 250 GTO and LM models of the Sixties, on to the 275 GTB and the 365 “Daytona” from the following decade and through to the F40, the 550 Maranello and the contemporary 488 series, this has been a sporting unique and glorious sporting epic, with the “Rosse” starring in races of immense appeal such as the Mille Miglia or the Le Mans 24 Hours.
A story that has now finally been collated and presented in a book that boasts and wealth of photographic material, much of which is previously unpublished.
