The first edition of this book dates back to 2007 and was how Sandro Munari, the greatest Italian rally driver of all times, decided to tell the first-hand story of his life in the rallying world and beyond.

The book is now being republished with the same texts, thoroughly revised by the author Sergio Remondino, and in a new “pocket” format, embellished with a rich array of unpubliehed archive photos.

The “Cavarzere Dragon”, as he was nicknamed, describes his life from childhood to the first kart races, from the triumphs in the Monte Carlo to the Safari, a rally he often dominated but never won. An enthralling story in which the protagonists include his historic navigators – from Mario Mannucci to Sergio Maiga – and, of course, the cars – the Lancia Fulvia HF and Stratos above all – which he drove in so many extraordinary sporting endeavours.
